We are a confessional church.
We hold the Baptist Faith and Message as our confessional document. This document summarizes what we believe God's Word teaches about these important matters. All who join CBC are required to sustain the statement of faith. In sustaining this confession, each member helps to protect the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a committed church.
Following Jesus means in part being committed to a particular community of believers, a local church. Our church covenant helps to clarify how we hope to live in our world. It gives shape to our lives together as God's people. Each of our members are committed to upholding our covenant by seeking to faithfully follow Christ in these ways.
